Pastor Roger Williams Jr. | Senior Pastor

Pastor Williams previously served as assistant pastor here at Calvary Baptist, and also in two other churches. He helped plant a church in Apache Junction and was youth pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Tempe.

He graduated from Mesa High School in 1975, from Faith Baptist Bible College in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts, and from Northwest Baptist Seminary with a Master of Divinity.

He trusted Jesus Christ as his Savior at five years of age and dedicated his life to serve Him at age 13. God led him into ministry at age 24. Reared in a pastor’s home, he learned to love and appreciate people, having a heart for missions. Pastor Williams has ministered and taught Bible classes in Brazil, Trinidad and Tobago, and Moldova.

He enjoys Arizona, being outdoors, and sports. He and his wife, Linda, have a seven year old son.
